DECIBEL FESTIVAL REBRAND
The Decibel festival is a long running Seattle music festival that draws attendees from around the world to experience the latest in digital music, art and mixed media. The current branding is in need of a refresh to keep it as fresh as the sounds and visuals the festival provides it’s visitors.
Create a refreshed look and feel to market an underground festival to a broader audience. Keeping in mind the current audience make an advertising campaign that will appeal to current festival goers and a new audience alike.
A digital based visual experience that stands out among the current festival branding landscape and draws on the technical aesthetic of digital music. Using visuals based on bold colors and patterns that mirror the audio aesthetic of laptop DJs I created a brand and advertising campaign that encourages visitors to “Find Their Sound Side”.
